The U.S. Constellation was in service from 1798 to1955. Her missions included:
* Seizing numerous ships
* Defending the Hawaiian Island against annexation by the British in 1843
* Transporting food to Ireland during the Great Famine of 1845 – 1849.
* The first U.S. warship to visit China in 1842
The US Constellation became a training vessel in 1871.
